Getting High
Had a quality afternoon today…. My mate Tom recently got his Commercial Pilots licence… and one day offered to take me up “for a spin”. So this afternoon we did just that. It was awesome! Not the cheapest thing I’ve ever done, but definately worth the money! (£110 for one hour)…
Very impressed with Tom’s flying - the take off was nice and smooth, and he was even nice enough to warn me when he did some crazy ass moves like causing a 2g turn and 0g drops….. loving it!!!! I also discovered flying isn’t as easy as it is on Microsoft Flight Sim…. (which is actually not that easy when I think about it!)… I had a go and it was hard work! The damn thing moves too much for my liking! You’re constantly having to get it back in a straight line… and don’t get me started on those thermals!!
Took my camera up with me and took a few shots - most were a bit rubbish as the plane windows weren’t the cleanest, but some came out ok. See for yourself. If you ever get chance to go up and have a fly….. do it. Do it, do it.
