touchscreen pc jukebox

All being well, I will be moving in to my new house in a few weeks, so work has started on my PC jukebox. The idea is that there will be a wall mounted touch screen monitor which will run software pulling the MP3s from my PC. (more…)

The site is currently undergowing a MAJOR reshuffle. I’ve decided to move away from my custom Boastmachine blog over to the fantastical Wordpress blogging software. I can honestly say, its the best thing I’ve done in ages. Wordpress is a godsend. It installs in seconds, and is so easy to customise. (more…)

Happy Birthday

Enter your friends name, and it will appear on this mini flash video. By clicking each of the letters on the keyboard, it will sing to you “Happy Birthday”. I dont know if you’ve ever noticed this (god knows how I did), but the song “Happy Birthday” has 26 syllables. Now, there are 26 letters of the alphabet (last time I checked)… so why not combine the two? each letter has a syllable. (more…)

This is just bizarre. Was shown a tutorial on how to make a colour illusion - this is my attempt at it! Stare at the dot in the middle of the image for 30 seconds, then move your mouse over to reveal the black and white photo. It should appear coloured!! (more…)

I decided one evening to try my hand at animating in flash. After many failed attempts in the past, this time, I was determined!! What to animate though…? A mate, Katie, ran out of pritt stick.
