I’ve made a free version of cookit, the iPhone meal planing app. It’s now available on the app store here:

Been working a lot recently tarting up my cookit app. It’s getting a major overhaul which will hopefully improve the reliability of timers and notifications.. also with a few added extras. New features include an item library along with a meal library. You can now save a meal as a favourite and load that meal when ever you like. The same with items. You can add a new item from scratch and save it to your item library for use in a later meal.

Another addition comes with the timer notifications. You no longer need to keep the applications open. It will push notifications to your screen when items are ready to start their cooking.

Cookit has also now been upgraded with iOS 4 greatness – so the icons and images have all been made for the retina display. No more fuzzy horrible graphics!

You can also now keep up to date with developments and updates via Twitter.

So… I’ve not updated the site for pretty much three years now. Plenty has happened in that time.

The first thing now was to update the bloody wordpress software. It was ancient and as a result, constantly being hacked. Now it’s brand spanking new and looking pretty sexy. Gone is the pink/red colour scheme of the old.

Not going to write loads now as it’s late and I need to crack on with getting an iPhone app moving. Keep an eye out for it – it’s an app version of the [very] popular dress up Lucy!
